I recently posted some of my favorite baby food making products from Infantino‘s Annabel Karmel line, and I want to share some of the goodies I am excited to use for Jackson, my toddler.

On the left is the Double Decker Mealbox, will show you in the video below. I love this thing and it might be my favorite way to transport food for my kids! However, I am warning you this video is not my finest, and there definitely bloopers at the end.

The Fill & Freeze Puree Pops allow you to puree fruit (and maybe even throw in a veggie) and serve it up as a popsicle. I also like the colors and the wide grip–perfect for chunky baby fingers!

Lastly, the Steam Release Micro Dish allows you to steam up veggies (and even fruits or fish–who knew?), which is really handy for traveling. The valve pre-releases steam and closes for air-tight storage. It’s pretty small, too, so it would be great for a single serving for your kiddo.

Sometimes hours seem to pass without much snuggling, rocking or squeezing. Hannah is sleeping or we are running errands (lately we’ve gone to the doctor too many times for her brother).

And I miss her. Even though she’s with me, I need her soft heart near mine.

So I stay up waaaaay to late just to hold her.

Or I smarten up and wear her.

It’s our thing.

We drop big brother off at Mother’s Morning Out and we sip lattes at a coffee shop and have mother-daughter chats.

Except I’m the only one sipping the latte and the chats just might be in my head. (Ha!) I’m imagining what she’ll say when we do this in 15 years.

I watch her in her car seat and wonder if I should risk waking her up because I want to hold her. To rock her.

I brush aside…

the sadness that she’ll grow too fast,

that these days will be cherished forever,

that I might regret not picking her up because I don’t want to wake her.

We were blessed again this year with…

who will likely do the same thing.

All the while I’ll try my best to just look at her with all the love in my heart and none of the sadness that this is temporary.

I knew Hannah just *had* to have one! A couple days later, a lovely package arrived at our doorstep and look at my little lovely in her new hat.

The mother-in-law, daughter-in-law team at Mimi’s Babies is located in Alabama and they have so many adorable, handmade clothes and accessories.
