About

Amy is a stay-at-home-mom of an infant, Jackson, and has a husband who is serving in the U.S. Army. She currently resides in Fort Bragg, NC, which is 50 miles from Raleigh. Amy writes about her experiences as a military spouse and a new mom.
Before a baby and Uncle Sam steered the direction of her life, Amy graduated from college and worked for a small publishing and travel company. While at this position, she wrote, edited, co-hosted a couple international tours, was whisked away on press trips, and even licked stamps. Then she went back to school to obtain her Master’s degree to become a teacher, which she did for three years (both high school English and Kindergarten).
Although Amy does not have an interest in teaching in the near future, she still holds Elementary and Secondary teaching certifications. She continues to be passionate about learning, even if her audience is just one little guy under the age of one!
As a self-proclaimed “gear person,” Amy would be happy to field requests for product reviews. If you are interested in advertising, please contact her by email: amy{at}clickclackmom{dot}com.
