Dropping Pregnancy Weight

As I am writing this post, I AM HUNGRY!! I am not going to lie, my dinner was not exactly filling and I need to go to sleep soon before the pantry is raided!

Dropping pregnancy weight is a pain. I’ve still got 14.4 pounds to go to reach my pre-baby weight, and I feel like it shouldn’t be taking this long. Oh well!! It is surprising just how out of shape you can become after giving birth.

Tonight I shocked myself and did something I don’t ever recall doing: opted against doing our Friday night ritual–ordering pizza from Papa Johns–and worked out instead. Yeah, I’m still feeling sticky and gross, but triumphant!

Are any of you trying to get back in shape? How is it going? Have you surprised yourself lately?!

YAY to you. yeah, me trying but not doing too great. every time I do ok I end up falling off the wagon

Amy, you’re silly. You look gorgeous so if you kept those 14 lbs. the rest of your life, you’d still be looking better than most!

It took me 4 months to lose the 40+ I gained with my first pregnancy. The good news is I lost the 40 and then some, so it was worth it. You clearly know how to take care of yourself and how to be fit, so don’t beat yourself up. It will happen! Just be patient and stick with it. You’re doing everything right. :)

Oh Delisa! You are too nice! It was terrific seeing you last week. I was thinking we should try to get together for a play date within the next week or two! I’ll send something out through FB.
