After weeks of bloggy buzz, the Ultimate Blog Party has arrived!! Thanks so much to 5 minutes for Mom for hosting this fun event!
For all of you who might be stopping by for the first time, and my lovely regular readers, I’d love to welcome you to my site. Why not have a seat and get cozy?
My name is Amy and my site is “Click Clack Mom.”
Most people pause when I say “Click Clack Mom” because they think it might be reference to something they should know, but they’re not sure what! So, let me explain…I LOVE the children’s book, “Click, Clack, Moo: Cows that Type” and loved the idea of changing it to “Click, Clack, Mom: A mom who writes.”
My blog is just 10 months old, and I started it to share my experiences as a mom and military spouse. Blogs have a way of taking on their own lives, though, because my blog has become so much more. It has become my creative outlet and forum for connecting to other friends. Other blogs often serve as a daily source of inspiration.
My husband is in the Army and is deployed right now. While he’s gone, I am busy chasing around our 14 month old son, Jackson.
We are expecting our second child this July (a baby girl!!) and there just isn’t enough time in the day to count all of the many blessings!
We call Fort Bragg, NC our home and have dreams of living overseas in the future.
Thank you so much for visiting my site. Have a look around; feel free to browse:) I would love to visit your site too, so leave me a comment below and I’ll be sure to stop by!

I just have to say I love your blog name. So, so cute and I haven’t seen those books before but they sound cute too. Congrats on the upcoming baby girl!
I clicked on over to your blog from UBP because I *love* the name. It’s one of my favorite books too! Congrats on your pregnancy ~ I have a 10 month old baby girl (who has two big brothers). Baby girls are so sweet!
Love the blog name! My hubby is a police officer, and while he is not gone months and months at a time, I feel like I can relate, because he is gone 4 nights a week. Thanks for your blog, it keeps me entertained.
I wondered if your blog name was a play on Click, Clack, Moo: Cows that Type when I saw it. I LOVE that book!
I live just northwest of Ft. Bragg in Cameron – Small world!
We love that series of books as well and this is a perfect blog title. So clever and creative!
I hope you have a great party week. I’m a fairly newbie blogger, too. I started last May. Come say hi when you get a chance.

I wanted to stop by and say hi from the UBP. I am a fellow Army wife. My husband will be starting his 3rd deployment next month. It’s so nice to see other military spouses on here because we can all relate to the struggles of parenting alone.

Hi! LOVE, love your site name! I am a children’s librarian and can so appreciate it! That book is awesome, as is your site. Wow, do you have your hands full. I have a 2 1/2 yr old boy, so I know how wild those boys can be, and on your own right now, whew!
Please stop by my site and enter the giveaway I’m having for handmade chocolate truffles. I’m hosting a giveaway each Thursday and you have until the next Wed to enter.
Nice to ‘meet’ you!

Hi,
I dropping by from UBP 2010.
Our family are big military nuts.
Although hubby & I haven’t been in the service, we have nephews and a niece that have and still are, most of them. 2 graduated from West Point, some are in Army, some Marines. For many years one of our nephews was aboard Marine One. We now have 2 nephews deployed to Afghanistan. If you would keep them in your prayers I would appreciate it.
Anyway, I would love it if you stop by sometime.
I was too sick to participate in UBP10, but you know I love you and will always stop by!
Just stopping by from the UBP at Five Minutes for Mom. I can’t believe it is the last day! You have a great site. I would love it if you visited my blog and left me a comment! I’m looking forward to reading more and getting to know you better.
