In just a few short hours, we will be heading up the East Coast. (Please count us in your prayers and keep your fingers crossed!)
Yes, we are driving into cities that have cited blizzards just this weekend. Cities were snow fell at a rate of two inches per hour. Washington, Baltimore, New York…yes, we’re driving through them all!! Yesterday we considered leaving this morning, but the Weather Channel pretty much talked us right out of it. They said I-95 would be a disaster zone and there may be road closures.
The bottles, baby food, clothes, toys, blankets (and so much more) have all been cleaned and packed. My husband already loaded the car (except for my laptop, of course) and we should be moving out around 4 a.m.
So I will check back in with you in a couple days…I’ll have much to report. And my “Must Have” will arrive mid-week, but stay-tuned, because it’s a good one. Especially for the mommies!
