It’s Sunday afternoon now and my husband and I are preparing to go out for our anniversary! This requires actually leaving the house, oh, dressing too! We made it safely to my father-in-law’s in New England, where it was a WINTER WONDERLAND! Seriously, 16 inches of snow on the ground. For a southerner, this is a Christmas fantasy!
Once we finished up our last minute shopping, we settled onto the couch and read by the fire. (I’m on a Jane Austen kick right now.) Remember I used to be a high school English teacher? Well, let’s just say this is another Christmas fantasy! My morning sickness has gotten a little better, which makes the world a lot more enjoyable.
We had another amazing Christmas this year. It is so wonderful and relaxed. Jackson seemed to love it all, but was a little overwhelmed!
I need to get ready for our big night out (Thank you, Auntie Katie) and pictures will be popping up this week. Not to be too dramatic, but my body and soul feel restored this week. Hooray! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday!!
